Nobody worry, Replicator is still dead.

The likelihood of anybody that is not a desperate band, pyramid schemer or Russian scam artist actually reading this is incredibly low.

yet, even in death, doth Replicator trudge on.

Speaking of trudging on… all 3 members of Replicator have some skin in the game against Karl Rove. You may have seen the article in the East Bay Express with Replicator’s Conan Neutron or heard him on the Mike Malloy show . The premise is this:

“Karl Rove is coming out with a memoir called “Courage and Consequence“. We are putting out a compilation LP by the same name that is coming out before his book. Songs about, pertaining to, or answers to Karl Rove specifically. We are going to culture jam his memoir and wreck his special day by dominating google results, amazon sales, etc.

We also are making a hell of a compilation.

This is a completely grassroots effort funded by donations and pre-orders.”

$20 gets you a copy, and the critical fundraising to get this compilation out is almost at an end, don’t delay. If you haven’t already, please check out the compilation at http://www.karlrovebook.net/

All 3 members of Replicator will be represented on here, although not AS Replicator.

Anyway, if you are more interested in bands that are living, Ben Adrian’s Guitar Vs. Gravity has a new ep out called “City of the Future“. You can download it for free at that link in the last sentence.

Chris Bolig of Replicator is also playing with Ben in the “small format” rock band Cartographer. There are other Cartographers of the same name, accept no substitutes. Of all of the post/non-Replicator bands Cartographer probably embodies the closest spirit to what we did. To say nothing of having 2/3 of the band.

Mount Vicious has broken up.

They shined brightly for approximately one year and made a record that was well regarded by those that heard it. Again, if you are into such things, you may procure it here and most of the usual places you procure such things.

Conan has a new band called Victory and Associates, they just finished recording their debut 7″ and a song for the Courage and Consequence compilation mentioned earlier in this message. They are planning a short Pac. NW tour and other fun things. If you are reading this, you obviously have some interest in myspace still, so you may “friend” them here.

That’s it!
